About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide a security presence while remaining alert and focused. As part of an enthusiastic, committed, and customer-focused team, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our customers. Duties include:
- Providing exceptional customer service;
- Enforcing rules and regulations, including moving people on when necessary;
- Performing incident reports and recording occurrences as required;
- Conducting foot patrols both internally and externally (requiring up to 10 km of walking per day);
- Extended periods of sitting and standing;
- Responding professionally, courteously, and promptly to all customer inquiries;
- Interacting positively with all campus personnel;
- Protecting assets of the university and following site lock-up procedures;
- Responding to first aid inquiries.
Requirements
- Certificate II in Security Operations and WA security license;
- First Aid and CPR certificate;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A can-do attitude;
- Full WA Driver's License.
