Central Highlands Locum Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work as a locum pharmacist in a tranquil town in the Central Highlands of Queensland. As a locum pharmacist, you will have the chance to explore the stunning landscapes of the Central Queensland Highlands, including the Sapphire Gemfields.
Responsibilities:- Work as a sole pharmacist or part of a team depending on the day
- You will be dispensing medication and working with support from experienced dispensary technicians and staff
- Accredited pharmacists may perform vaccinations
- You will be responsible for Webster checking and management of suboxone patients and cannabis
- You must be registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Experience with dispensing medication preferred but not essential
- You must be able to work in a busy pharmacy environment as the sole pharmacist if required
- Vaccination accreditation preferred but not essential
- Suboxone experience preferred but not essential
- Cannabis experience preferred but not essential
You can expect to work a roster of 38-40 hours per week minimum. Store hours include:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30am - 6pm (30-minute break if not sole pharmacist)
Thursday: 8:30am - 7:30pm (30-minute break if not sole pharmacist)
Saturday: 8:30am - 5pm (no break)
Sunday: 9am - 5pm (no break)
Travel and accommodation arrangements will be made for locums flying in.
