We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team at TwoScots Recruitment. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs.

• Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Utilize Xero accounting software to process transactions, reconcile bank statements, and manage accounting records.
• Provide comprehensive accounting services, including bookkeeping, preparation of quarterly or monthly BAS, payroll, and STP processing.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.
• Communicate effectively with clients, managing their expectations and providing exceptional customer service.

• Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.
• Experience with Office 365, BGL, and familiarity with MYOB and QuickBooks (QB) is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A hands-on approach, with a willingness to engage in all aspects of accounting and financial processing.
