Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the role of Food Service Assistant. The successful candidate will work across various areas of our establishment, reporting to the Departmental Manager. They will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, delivering food and beverages to patients and staff, ensuring all areas meet stringent hygiene guidelines, and working productively within a team while independently managing their workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness in line with infection control guidelines.
  • Work productively within a team while independently managing your workload.

The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Previous experience in catering or housekeeping is desirable but not essential. The candidate should have an understanding of food safety principles and infection control procedures, and comply with relevant health and safety requirements.

The successful applicant will also bring excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus, and be available across a 7-day rotating roster, including morning and afternoon shifts. A Certificate II or III in Hospitality is desirable.
