Support Individuals in Need with a Meaningful Telecross Volunteer Role

As a Telecross volunteer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of at-risk community members during extreme weather events. By providing regular phone calls and check-ins, you can help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about supporting others and making a positive impact in their community. As a Telecross volunteer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing regular wellbeing phone calls to clients
  • Maintaining accurate records of all calls
  • Utilizing a script provided by our organization to assess client well-being
  • Being available to respond to emergency situations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently. A background in customer service or healthcare would be beneficial but not essential.
