Research Governance Unit Manager

As a key member of the Research Governance Unit, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the research community understands and adheres to its obligations under various Federal and State legislation.

You will foster excellent relationships with key external agencies, such as the National Health and Medical Research Council, driving collaboration and mutual understanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of the annual operational plan, guaranteeing the Research Governance Unit meets relevant targets set in the strategic plan.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage the unit's budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Manage secretariat support for key committees, including the Human Research Ethics Committee, Animal Ethics Committee, and Institutional Biosafety Committee.
