The Community Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating Positive Ageing activities at Mathers and Criterion Houses, ensuring seamless execution of events and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate logistics for Positive Ageing activities, including room setup and dining room support.
- Support community activities at Mathers Place, such as launches and events.
- Develop and maintain promotional materials following the CoH branding guidelines.
- Manage administrative tasks for Positive Ageing programs, including database management, bookings, receipts, and orders.
- Supervise volunteers with the Mathers House Coordinator, particularly during key events.
- Handle public enquiries via face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and social media.
- Maintain financial records for the venue, including till reconciliation, petty cash, and kitchen operations.
- Coordinate bookings for Mathers and Criterion Houses, including inductions, calendar management, and invoicing.
- Collaborate with the Positive Ageing team to ensure effective delivery of all programs, projects, and events.
- Certificate III or higher in Community Services, or equivalent extended practical experience in community sector facilities, programs, or projects.
- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
- Valid Driver Licence.
Work hours: 25 hours per week. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 5 pm.
