Job Overview

The Community Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating Positive Ageing activities at Mathers and Criterion Houses, ensuring seamless execution of events and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate logistics for Positive Ageing activities, including room setup and dining room support.
  2. Support community activities at Mathers Place, such as launches and events.
  3. Develop and maintain promotional materials following the CoH branding guidelines.
  4. Manage administrative tasks for Positive Ageing programs, including database management, bookings, receipts, and orders.
  5. Supervise volunteers with the Mathers House Coordinator, particularly during key events.
  6. Handle public enquiries via face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and social media.
  7. Maintain financial records for the venue, including till reconciliation, petty cash, and kitchen operations.
  8. Coordinate bookings for Mathers and Criterion Houses, including inductions, calendar management, and invoicing.
  9. Collaborate with the Positive Ageing team to ensure effective delivery of all programs, projects, and events.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or higher in Community Services, or equivalent extended practical experience in community sector facilities, programs, or projects.
  • Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
  • Valid Driver Licence.

Work hours: 25 hours per week. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 5 pm.
