Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and confident Business Development Training Coach with strong training and coaching abilities to join our team in Australia. This role will be instrumental in improving efficiencies in sales skills, developing and identifying training needs for a team of National Course Advisors.

This position requires excellent organizational and time-management abilities, as well as the ability to work effectively in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in educational or training content development and a natural communication style that establishes trusting relationships with the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular call observations to deliver coaching to Team Leaders
  • Schedule individual and team training plans to optimize performance
  • Evaluate strengths and weaknesses to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires and sales trainees
  • Oversee training material and suggest improvements to enhance learning outcomes
  • Select the most effective training methods for each case (e.g., on-the-job training, seminars, and simulations)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design individual training plans that drive business results
  • Create an open-communication climate and gather team members' preferences for potential training
  • Maintain and update training collateral to ensure relevance and effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with employee development trends to inform training strategies

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sales/Customer Service trainer or similar role
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
  • Experience in educational or training content development is a plus
  • Understanding of the call centre sales process and associated soft skills that support performance
  • Natural communicator with the ability to establish trusting relationships with the team
  • TAE40122 desirable or ability to obtain preferred but not essential
Estimated Salary:

Australian dollars $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
