We are seeking a skilled News Producer to join our team in Sydney.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a television newsroom, with a strong background in research, writing, and production. They will be responsible for crafting comprehensive and engaging content for video audiences, working closely with a respected team of foreign correspondents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and write stories for television and Video on Demand audiences.
- Produce high-quality content that meets deadlines and standards.
- Collaborate with the ABC's team of foreign correspondents to identify and suggest ideas for original stories or fresh angles for national and international coverage.
- Maintain a wide knowledge base that covers national and international news.
Requirements:
- Experience in TV news package writing.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce concise and accurate content.
- Ability to work accurately and to deadlines under pressure.
