About the Role

The Disability Support Worker will provide support to clients with disabilities, focusing on skill development and enriching their lives through engaging activities. This role may involve providing in-home support, which could require working afternoon and night shifts.

About You
  • Confident in engaging with clients effectively, building positive relationships, and supporting their unique needs.
  • Resilient and self-assured, able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and demonstrating problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible, with availability for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Holder of a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Able to pass a National Criminal History Check.
  • 3 COVID Vaccination Doses: Fully vaccinated with 3 doses.
  • Experience with high-needs Disability clients.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes (desirable).
