We are seeking a highly skilled Biologics Manufacturing Support Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will provide critical support for the manufacturing of biologics.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. As a Biologics Manufacturing Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance planning and support, including filing and archiving work orders on our CMMS system.
  • Generating purchase requisitions and supervising progress until purchase orders are approved.
  • Handling physical inventory and spares in our CMMS system.
  • Participating in Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) exercises as required.
  • Supporting the implementation of improved documentation practices and control systems.
  • Providing documentation related to equipment lifecycle, EH&S, and contractor management.
  • Supporting audits and other tasks assigned by your Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of electronic documentation systems.
  • Knowledge of EH&S and GMP principles.
  • Experience in facilities for manufacturing of biologics.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and initiative skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to operate in a highly sophisticated and changing environment with a wide variety of people and perspectives.
  • An understanding of the practical application of quality oversight models.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
