Job Description

As a Dining Host, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff and visitors within the food services department. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality service delivery while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality service delivery to customers including patients, staff and visitors within the Food Services department.
  • Assist with basic meal preparation, portioning and serving of hot and cold meals.
  • Deliver and retrieve meals from patient rooms and other areas as required.
  • Support and assist customers to place meal orders and process orders through digital menu software via the call centre.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a food safe team environment is preferred.
  • Flexibility and willingness to multi-skill and rotate within the Food Services Department.
  • Professional attitude with excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of food safety.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HACCP principles and PPE requirements.
