About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Promotions Coordinator to support our team in creating innovative campaigns that drive engagement, enhance ratings, and meet client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Star 101.9 and 4MK's programming, marketing objectives, and commercial sales goals.
  • Sources and fulfils prizes for the station, including coordinating winner communication.
  • Designs, creates, and implements client-led campaigns that align with brand, budget, and timeline.
  • Supports the Promotions Manager in planning, setting up, activating, and reporting on station promotions.
  • Collaborates with Content/Sales Teams to craft listener experiences that strive for creative excellence.
  • Participates in regular Promotions meetings to discuss opportunities, share ideas, and communicate upcoming campaigns.
  • Assists with writing proactive promotional proposals and reactive sponsorship responses.
  • Represents the brand at local events, engaging with listeners to create positive experiences.
  • Manages social media updates for events and promotions, driving audience participation and keeping listeners informed.

About You:

  • You possess high organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • You have experience with social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram).
  • Your excellent communication skills are both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is highly valued.
