Safety Performance Specialist

Our client is a leading service provider to the oil and gas and marine sectors, with a strong presence in Australia and key regional locations in Western Australia.
The company prioritizes high-level safety performance, working closely with client safety and compliance functions to drive excellence in this area.
Job DescriptionThis role focuses on driving safety performance in operational teams, working alongside customer assets. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting post-incident investigations and follow-up actions
- Responding to regulatory changes and updates
- Tracking safety and incident data, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement projects
- Managing and updating hazard registers
The successful candidate will be an early-to-mid career safety professional with a strong understanding of the contractor-principal relationship in safety performance. They will have exposure to marine or broader oil and gas operations, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a minimum Diploma of WHS or equivalent. Full working rights in Australia and relocation to the Karratha area are also required.
