About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Watersports Instructor to join our team at Alton Water Park. As a Watersports Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tuition and customer service to our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver watersports instruction to individuals and groups, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our visitors.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new watersports programs and activities.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in watersports, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Valid UKCC level 1 in Kayak & Canoe (minimum), FRST (Foundation Safety Rescue Technician), RYA Senior instructor, RYA Dinghy Instructor, RYA Windsurf Instructor, and an appropriate valid First Aid qualification certificate.
  • Excellent customer service skills, particularly in a retail or outdoor environment.
  • Excellent communication and social skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to learn.
