Financial Accountant Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Financial Accountant to join our organization and contribute their expertise to make a meaningful impact in the not-for-profit sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee reconciliations, including bank accounts and general ledger balances, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts and audit requirements, providing financial advice and insights to stakeholders as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting practices relevant to the not-for-profit industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA.
  • 3 years minimum post qualification experience, with experience in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel, along with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • An understanding of financial operations in the not-for-profit industry, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
