Talent Acquisition and Early Careers Strategist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition and Early Careers Strategist to join our national Early Careers team, based in our Sydney CBD office. As a key member of our Human Resources team, you will play a pivotal role in continuing our success by attracting, selecting, and developing early career talent throughout the Sydney office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire graduate lifecycle, from campus recruitment to their admission as lawyers and through their 18-month graduate program. This includes leading attraction and engagement strategies for early career talent, managing the end-to-end vacation clerkship recruitment process, and managing graduate resourcing for the Sydney office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition and early careers strategies to attract and engage top talent
- Manage the graduate lifecycle, including campus recruitment, onboarding, and development programs
- Lead the vacation clerkship recruitment process, ensuring exceptional candidate experience and continuous improvement
- Manage graduate numbers, rotation allocations, and permanent placements to meet business needs
- Act as an HR Business Partner to graduates, providing support and guidance throughout their employment
Requirements
- Proven experience in talent acquisition and early careers management, preferably in the legal or professional services sector
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build rapport with people at all levels of the organization
- Excellent internal client service focus, with strong communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing circumstances
