We are seeking an experienced Camera Operator/Editor to join our dynamic and talented regional news team in Cairns. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for filming segments and stories in various locations and aerial footage. In addition, this position will also support with editing segments and stories.

• Filming segments and stories in various locations and aerial footage
• Supporting with editing segments and stories
• Working closely with Reporters and Producers to deliver high-quality content
• Traveling at short notice to cover breaking news

• Experience in news and on-air operations
• Ability to think clearly, communicate, and act quickly under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form credible, productive relationships
• Unrestricted manual driver's license
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including on-call/out of hours work
