Locum General Practitioner Required for Wards Role

Job Title:

A locum general practitioner is required to cover wards at Port Lincoln Hospital.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A fellowed GP or rural generalist with General Registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in working on wards.
  • Supervision of junior doctors is a requirement of this role.

Work Details:

The doctor will be required to work 7 shifts/stint between 7 Jul 2025 – 28 Dec 2025. Each shift will be from 0800 – 2000.

There will be two senior doctors rostered within wards from 0800 - 2000, and support from a Consultant Physician.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to earn Qantas points for every weekly invoice submitted.
