Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team in Perth airport. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and timely tracking of inventory levels, receiving and storing goods in a safe and secure manner, and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet business needs.
  • Goods Receipt and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of received goods to ensure quality and integrity, and identify any defects or damage.
  • Storehouse Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Stock Rotation and Rotation Management: Implement effective stock rotation practices to minimize waste and ensure optimal inventory turnover.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including HACCP, QSAI, and WHS standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including purchasing, logistics, and operations teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Forklift License: Must hold a valid forklift license with experience; high reach license preferred.
  • Basic Knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety and QSAI: Possess good knowledge of basic HACCP/Food Safety and QSAI requirements.
  • Halal Policies and Procedures: Have a basic understanding of Halal policies and procedures.
  • WHS Knowledge: Possess good knowledge of WHS principles and practices.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Demonstrate excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Product Knowledge: Possess excellent product knowledge and a keen eye for detail.
  • National Police Check: Will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.
  • Availability: Must be available to work 38 hours per week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
