About the Location

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Specialist to join our team at the V Wall Pavilion, located near the stunning V Wall boardwalk in Nambucca Heads.

The Pavilion offers a relaxed, friendly, and trendy experience for everyone.

Inspired by the laid-back atmosphere of Nambucca Heads, the V-Wall Pavilion is casual dining at its best, offering an array of classic pub meals and modern cuisine.

About the Position

We are searching for a dedicated and results-driven Cafe All Rounder who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality control.

The ideal candidate will be committed to providing customers with outstanding service, maintaining a clean and well-stocked workspace, and updating displays to attract customers.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
  • Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
  • Packaging food and beverages for sale.
  • Cleaning and restocking work areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
  • Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
  • Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
  • Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

About You

  • Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
  • Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work around peak hours, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
