Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Performance Engineer to join our team. As a Linux Performance Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing high-performance Linux systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-performance Linux systems for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain Linux kernel modules and device drivers.
  • Optimize Linux system performance for low-latency applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Linux systems with other technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and trends.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Linux engineering and internals.
  • Advanced capability with Python, BASH, GCC, and familiarity with C.
  • Experience with Linux (ver. 6+) and familiarity with Intel hardware, internals, tuning.
  • Experience overclocking Intel CPUs and understanding of hardware capabilities (CPUs, DDR4/5 tuning).
  • Polished communication and interpersonal skills along with a can-do attitude.
  • Bachelor's, master's, or PhD level degree in computer science, mathematics, or other relevant fields.
  • A history of good tenure in your career history (e.g., 4+ years average ideal).
  • The ability to think critically in a high-paced, constantly changing environment; a sense of urgency is a must.
  • Knowledge of/passion for the latest relevant technology trends with the goal to reduce latency, improve performance, enhance manageability; propose, evaluate, and implement new solutions.
  • Experience within a high-performance, low-latency dependent environment such as financial markets, betting, or other industry sectors with a 'high demand' on technology.
  • Experience with FPGA technology (firmware loading, monitoring, test scripts, automation) highly regarded.
