Assistant Manager Job Description

This is a full-time, six-month fixed-term position available for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team based in Melton. The role is key support management and works hand in hand with the leadership to deliver exceptional store results and customer service.


The Role Summary

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the leadership team and contributing to the overall success of the store. This includes managing daily store operations, leading a team of sales consultants, and driving sales growth through excellent customer service and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the leadership team in achieving business objectives
  • Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Lead a team of sales consultants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Drive sales growth through effective use of promotions and visual merchandising
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:


  • Proven experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts and respond to changing circumstances
