Construction Project Manager

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee Site Supervisors across various projects, and will be fully responsible for the planning, organizing, and managing of assigned project sites.
Operational Responsibilities:- Manage a team of 4-6 Site Supervisors, overseeing their daily activities and ensuring efficient project execution.
- Review project plans, schedules, and specifications, commenting on construction design, scheduling, potential cost savings measures, and construction problems.
- Forecast operational requirements, allocate labor and trade resources on assigned projects, and ensure labor is used efficiently.
- Monitor the performance of construction crews and subcontractors to ensure alignment with the scope of work.
- Schedule and order materials, perform quantity takeoffs, and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor cost control and liaise with the Construction Manager on potential issues.
- Identify, analyze, and report on variations.
- Regularly inspect construction sites to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Maintain control and responsibility for the security and operation of company-owned vehicles, equipment, plant, and tools, in conjunction with Site Supervisors.
- Maintain and enforce high-quality construction standards and quality control of OH&S practices.
- Ensure that commercial confidential information and documentation are secured at all times.
- Implement Premier's management systems across assigned projects; or recommend changes to increase efficiency.
