Job Title: Venue Manager

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead our team at The Forest Hotel in Sydney's North Shore.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the venue, including opening and closing procedures, back-of-house administration, and staff rostering.
  • Develop and implement business initiatives to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and contribute to the overall success of the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage staff performance, provide coaching and training, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control costs, manage budgets, and ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and local community groups.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior hospitality management role, preferably in a similar venue or industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
