About the Role

Elders Rural is seeking a highly skilled District Wool Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to clients to achieve their wool sales and earnings targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their current and future needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase wool sales and revenue.
  • Collaborate with branch staff to increase their knowledge of wool and improve sales performance.
  • Identify and cultivate new wool sales opportunities for prospective and existing clients.
  • Ensure compliance with client allocation process and credit and payment terms for all transactions.
  • Work closely with area management to set wool sales targets and identify growth opportunities.
  • Attend ram sales and provide expert advice to clients on purchases to maximise clip return.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Advanced client relationship skills.
  • Expert knowledge of clip preparation and presentation.
  • A solid understanding of ram and sheep selection.
  • Full understanding of risk management practices.
