About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Suncorp Banking Specialist. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to customers on their financial needs and providing options to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve sales, service and compliance targets
- Provide recommendations to the Store Manager or Store Leader for initiatives to improve sales performance of the store
- Assess customer needs through open and targeted communication with customers and recommend appropriate options using the agreed sales process
- Provide accurate and timely service by processing over-the-counter transactions (deposits, withdrawals and transfers, in an efficient and accurate manner
- Actively promote and support customers in the use of alternative electronic distribution methods for conducting day to day banking (e.g. ATM, Phone Banking, Internet)
- Proactive identification and escalation of risks and issues related to your role responsibilities& captured as a service request in Ignite
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of financial services and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
