">We are seeking an experienced leader to head up our Queensland Ecology practice. As the successful candidate, you will balance team leadership with project delivery, working on diverse projects across renewables, infrastructure, mining, and conservation. You will provide high-quality ecological advice across all stages of infrastructure and natural resource projects, from early constraints and biodiversity surveys to impact assessments, offsets, and management plans.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">- ">
- A minimum of 5 years consulting experience in biodiversity impact assessment, environmental offsets, and mine rehabilitation.">
- Leadership experience, including the ability to build or lead high-performing teams.">
- Significant field experience in rehabilitation monitoring, protected plants and marine plant surveys, threatened ecological community verification, ecological data collection and analysis, managing field teams, etc.">
- Experience in developing re-vegetation and vegetation management plans.">
- Knowledge of Queensland regional ecosystem framework and Commonwealth environmental offset policies and associated guidelines.">
- Demonstrated technical writing and ability to interpret legislation and policy.">
- A passion for ecology, conservation, biodiversity, and natural resources management.">
