Role Overview

This position involves mentoring and developing junior underwriters while reporting to senior management and maintaining seamless interactions with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking thorough risk assessments for property products to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company policy limits
  • Maintaining relationships with key brokers through regular visits and fostering strong connections to drive business growth
  • Providing timely and efficient services to clients while ensuring task administration runs smoothly
  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities by engaging with existing and potential broker networks
Requirements and Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, be adept at building and maintaining effective relationships, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office Software. Familiarity with the Australian insurance regulatory environment and strong analytical skills are also highly desirable.
