Job Description

Nuix is a leading provider of investigative analytics and intelligence software, empowering customers to find truth in the digital world. As a Quality Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standard of quality in Nuix's software products.

About the Role

You will lead a team of quality engineers, developing and implementing testing strategies, managing quality assurance processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions. Your expertise will drive the development of automated testing, ensuring CI/CD pipelines are robust and efficient, while incorporating comprehensive automated test coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Testing Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy that meets the needs of individual scrum teams, aligning with broader quality engineering practices.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional testing.
  • Defect Management: Implement effective defect tracking and management processes, ensuring timely resolution and communication of issues to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, development, and operations teams to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 8+ years of experience in quality engineering or software testing, covering both on-premise and SaaS products.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and tools, test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and Cloud technologies (preferably AWS).
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile testing practices.
