Lead Technologist

Visy is a world-class pulp and paper mill in the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales, Australia. Our mill produces high-quality kraft paper for domestic and international markets.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Technologist to join our Mill Laboratory team in Tumut. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and contributing to sustainability initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar laboratory role, with a degree in chemistry or science. They will be responsible for following policies and procedures related to safety at work, supporting the Lab Supervisor with good housekeeping practices, and carrying out routine performance monitoring/maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
