Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our workforce, you will provide high-quality patient care in a range of settings, including Acute Medical Assessment Unit, Aged Care Ward, Medical/Surgical Ward, and Medical Ward at Shellharbour Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic care to patients, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and report on patient progress, ensuring timely interventions and adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to relevant standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications or experience in a specialized area of nursing practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to think critically and make informed decisions.
