About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in midwifery, with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar leadership role. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of patient care, ensuring hospital policies and procedures are implemented and monitored, and holding accountability for the ward when the Nurse Manager is not present.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing flexible and responsive service to patients and consumers
  • Utilizing clinical knowledge, experience, and skills to provide leadership and operational direction
  • Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of patient care
  • Ensuring hospital policies, procedures, and protocols are implemented and monitored
  • Holding accountability for the ward when the Nurse Manager is not present
