Job Title: Senior Cloud Database Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a senior cloud database engineer, responsible for ensuring SQL Server database performance and availability in a 24x7 environment.

  • Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, maintain, and manage multiple SQL Server databases.
  • Perform database and application tuning.
  • Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain database security.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor SQL queries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years maintaining SQL Server mission-critical databases.
  • 5+ years of TSQL programming experience.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SSAS/SSRS/SSIS expertise.
  • Experience with newer data/streaming platforms like Kafka, MSK, Snowflake, Aurora DB, SNS.
  • AWS management skills.
  • Database management experience on Azure.
  • MCSE/MCDBA/OCP certifications.
  • NET technologies knowledge.
  • PowerShell scripting skills.
  • C# programming expertise.
  • Rubrik knowledge.
  • TFS/GitHub experience.
