Job Summary

Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking a Property Registration Officer to join a large Government department. The successful candidate will perform property registration functions within the department's corporate property register in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete a range of property registration processes, including new construction, sales, leasing, market rental changes, subdivisions, and amalgamations.
  • Ensure the data integrity of the department's Property Asset Register by maintaining a high level of data entry accuracy.
  • Research and assess property information and accurately complete detailed data entry in the property register.
  • Develop and apply a detailed knowledge of the department's property database systems and of related corporate governance requirements and external property database systems.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with Housing Service Centre Staff, Contract Managers, and other department stakeholders.
  • Operate as a high-performing team member, applying and contributing own expertise to support and train other staff relating to the property registration functions.
  • Use Microsoft software packages, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.

  • You have demonstrated ability to research and analyze information relevant to work tasks and responsibilities and suggest improvements to work practices and work tasks.
  • You manage competing priorities and performance expectations, meet tight deadlines, and apply attention to detail to deliver consistent quality service with minimal supervision.
  • Your written and verbal communication is clear and concise, and you adapt your communication approach to address the needs of different audiences.
  • You take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work and seek guidance when required.
