We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Software Architect to join our team at Gunditjmara Aboriginal Cooperative. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing robust, scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on design and architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, design, develop, and test software applications using a variety of programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development and Testing: Design, develop, and test software applications using a variety of programming languages
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution of Software Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proficiency in One or More Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, C++)
  • Experience with Software Development Methodologies: Experience with software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum)
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
