About a Junior School Teacher Role

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and hearts? Do you have a deep commitment to creating a safe, supportive learning environment? We are seeking a dedicated and highly relational teacher to join our team as a Junior School Classroom Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to work with well-established and resourced teaching programs, and contribute to the school community by participating in staff meetings, extra-curricular tasks, and liaising with parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively lead the Christian formation of students;
  • Actively lead in delivering Pastoral Care from a genuine Christian faith;
  • Contribute to an inclusive approach to learning and a cross-cultural understanding in our students;
  • Develop an approach to education that is biblically grounded, Christ-focused, culturally engaging, and academically rigorous;
  • Teach the prescribed curriculum within a conducive learning environment to develop students' interests, skills, and abilities;
Requirements:
  • A relevant bachelor degree and any other relevant teaching qualifications (i.e., Master's of Education);
  • Possession of a strong servant heart and vibrant Christian faith;
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues in developing and implementing teaching and learning programs;
  • Highly relational and committed to a holistic view of teaching and student welfare;
