The Role
We are seeking an experienced Build & Support Engineer to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for network nodes and EMS systems for our FTTx domain. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Hands-on network configuration: Configure, deploy, and support network nodes and EMS systems across FTTx infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting & support: Provide on-site and remote support for network elements and resolve any issues related to EMS systems.
- Integration & testing: Work closely with teams to integrate and test new network nodes and EMS systems, ensuring smooth deployment.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for network nodes, EMS configurations, and system updates.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with network engineers, field teams, and vendors to ensure successful deployment and support of network infrastructure.
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Proven experience in network engineering with a focus on FTTx infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of network nodes, EMS systems, and network management.
- Familiarity with fiber optic systems and related technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in network-related hardware/software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
