CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking a compassionate and friendly individual to join our Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme as a volunteer visitor.

We provide essential support services to individuals, families, and communities in need. Our volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the lives of seniors living in our community.

**Job Description:**

As a volunteer visitor, you will be matched with a senior who would greatly benefit from your companionship. You will spend time with them, engaging in activities such as having coffee, going on outings, reading together, listening to music, or playing games. This rewarding experience will not only bring joy to their life but also have a positive impact on your mental health and wellbeing.

**Estimated Salary Range:** AU$25-30 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one hour per fortnight commitment
  • A desire to spend quality time with seniors in your community
  • A warm and friendly communication style and reliability
  • A willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check (paid for by us)
