Job Summary:
Manage a diverse portfolio of claims for corporate and government clients. We are looking for a driven and dedicated Senior Claims Manager to utilise your Workers Compensation knowledge and experience, coupled with your empathy and passion, to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.About the Role:
As a Senior Claims Manager, you will be responsible for returning people back to work and health through timely assessment of treatment requests and appropriate documentation of claims decisions.Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of claims.
- Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders meeting service principles.
- Determine liability and timely assessment of treatment requests.
- Appropriately document claims decisions.
- Utilise claims management systems.
- Develop and implement claims strategies that deliver positive outcomes.
- Meet compliance and performance measures.
- Coach and support newer team members.
About You:
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience as a Workers Compensation Case Manager or other personal injury lines.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal with a customer focused approach.
- The ability to handle difficult situations and resolve complex situations in a timely manner.
- Proactivity with the drive to learn and develop skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt when changes occur.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape.
