About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Australia Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team at Medtronic's Australia office. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a critical role in developing and executing demand forecasting processes.

As a key member of our Supply Planning team, you will work closely with Marketing and Global Planning teams to review sales trends, understand demand drivers, provide input into forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. You will be responsible for analyzing demand planning and inventory management processes to identify potential improvements and driving process excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Global Planning teams to review demand trends, understand demand drivers, and develop forecasts.
  • Challenge Market Intelligence assumptions and provide data-driven insights to increase Forecast Value Add, Forecast Accuracy, and Bias.
  • Develop and coordinate phase-in and phase-out (PIPO) plans with Marketing and commercial partners to mitigate excess and obsolescence risk.
  • Facilitate monthly Tactical and Regional Demand Planning Reviews as a critical step in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle.
  • Maintain Master Data Maintenance in Blue Yonder (BY) including Segmentation.
Requirements
  • Degree in business or formal tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations Management.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, with an emphasis on Demand/Supply Chain Planning.
  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of Supply Chain Principles and Supply Chain Analysis.
  • Experience with advanced supply chain planning systems such as SAP R3, APO SNP.
