Field Officer

This role involves delivering mental health and suicide prevention programs to the construction industry workforce. As a Field Officer, you will establish relationships with sites, provide training, support, and resources to workers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain site relationships by tailoring your approach to individual needs.
  • Coordinate and schedule site visits and training sessions.
  • Provide direct support to workers experiencing difficulties, connecting them with relevant services and resources.
  • Encourage sites to participate in MATES in Construction accreditation and involvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and data collection.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A background in construction or a related field, accompanied by strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in mental health, suicide prevention, and making a positive impact.
  • The ability to work collaboratively, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing environments.
