TAPS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Officer to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare and process fortnightly payrolls for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Query Resolution: Resolve any payroll-related queries, including leave loading, superannuation, time sheets, and PAYG summaries.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliation and reporting.
  • Contract Preparation: Prepare contracts for employees, including salary changes and roster pattern updates.
  • Employee Correspondence: Handle staff correspondence, including salary changes and roster pattern changes.
  • Compensation Administration: Manage employee compensation, including leave and benefits.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and update personnel records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Payroll Expertise: Proven experience in full-function payroll processing, with a strong understanding of ADP payroll systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize workflows and work autonomously.
