At 1800DRIVERS, we are seeking a skilled Freight Delivery Specialist to join our team. Based in Minchinbury, this role involves delivering palletised general freight in a Mercedes with Tautliner Curtain, starting at 6am each day.

About the Role

This is an ongoing opportunity for a hardworking driver who is passionate about their work and enjoys interacting with customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering palletised general freight in a Mercedes with Tautliner Curtain
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient delivery schedule
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely communication
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Current HC Licence
  • A clean Current Road Traffic History Report
  • Minimum 2 years MC Driving Experience
  • Load restraint experience in using straps
  • Competence in coupling/uncoupling various trailer types
  • Excellent reversing skills, including backing onto docks and customer sites
  • A strong safety-first focus
  • The ability to work independently with high reliability and punctuality
  • Professionalism and a positive attitude
