Lead Environmental Scientist/Contaminated Land Specialist

You'll collaborate with a specialist team of environmental scientists, engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, chemists, and remediation specialists to deliver complex site investigation and remediation projects.

Supported by industry leaders and Principals, you'll tackle technical challenges while growing your career in a flexible, inclusive, and highly skilled environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead medium to large-scale contaminated land projects from conception to completion
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants
  • Deliver high-quality reports, proposals, and communications for clients and regulators
  • Build strong relationships with clients and contribute to business development opportunities alongside senior leaders
  • Navigate stakeholder engagement with government agencies and regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary specialists across Australia on major national projects
About You:
  • Degree qualified in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years' professional experience in contaminated land projects, ideally within a consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of National and Victorian environmental regulations, guidelines, and reporting standards relevant to contaminated sites
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on quality and delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering quality outcomes
  • A commitment to safe, environmentally responsible project delivery
