Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Detailed Designer to join our team. As an Electrical Detailed Designer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems for our projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform detailed design activities from assembly to system level, producing electrical drawing outputs such as Cable Block Diagrams, Schematics, Connection details, and Cable Installation data. You will also be responsible for selecting electrical components suitable for installation and manufacture, providing input to technical decisions that are safe, practical, and suitable for implementation, and collaborating with disciplines within and departments outside of Engineering to deliver engineering products and services.

Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate III in Engineering/Trade qualification or higher
  • Have experience in design and integration of electrical systems
  • Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD to produce 2D Electrical drawings (experience with Autodesk Inventor 3D desirable)
  • Understand and develop engineering documentation and drawings
  • Possess sound written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate a high standard of personal organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain interpersonal and professional relationships with stakeholders
