A Support Worker plays a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with disabilities.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for assisting customers with daily living tasks, including domestic and personal care assistance. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with a dynamic team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support customers in accessing community services and promoting their independence.
- Ability to work shift work, including regular sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
- Resilience, confidence, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications.
