We are seeking an experienced FOH professional to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming and seating guests with professionalism and warmth, taking orders and serving food and drinks with efficiency and attention to detail, explaining menu items and recommending sake and dishes with confidence, working closely with the FOH and kitchen team to ensure smooth service, and maintaining a clean and organized service area.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous hospitality experience, a positive attitude and genuine care for customers, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Welcome and seat guests with professionalism and warmth
  • Take orders, serve food and drinks with efficiency and attention to detail
  • Explain menu items and recommend sake and dishes with confidence
  • Work closely with the FOH and kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area

**Requirements:**

  • Previous hospitality experience essential
  • A positive attitude and genuine care for customers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Mandarin and/or Japanese language skills a plus
  • RSA certificate required
