Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our team in Queensland. As a Drill Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing our equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drill rigs and other equipment
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Identify and report any issues or defects with equipment
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals

Requirements

  • Cert III in a Mechanical or Engineering Trade qualification
  • Experience in drill rig repair and maintenance
  • Preferred forklift ticket
  • Preferred hydraulic problem-solving ability
  • General welding skills
  • Current Australian Open Class Manual Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a police clearance check
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment medicals and Drug and Alcohol screen
  • Experience in working in the quarrying and/or mining industry
