About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Business Manager to join our dynamic team in Ministerial & Executive Coordination. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the Division, working closely with the MECC Senior Leadership team.

As a key member of the Business Management Team (BMT), you will be responsible for managing and coordinating business operations processes, conducting research, contributing to corporate reporting and governance, and providing timely advice to divisional staff and other stakeholders across the department.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of stakeholder engagement and be able to develop a clear understanding of business requirements, identify issues, and problem solve to achieve outcomes.

About Our Team

Our team coordinates workforce management, planning and reporting, division level budget planning and management, security compliance, reporting and advice, divisional records management compliance and education, coordination of office accommodation requirements, and coordination of induction, training and education for MECC staff.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, be a good problem solver with excellent organization skills, and be able to think strategically with limited direction.
